I bought this little table on Craigslist for $15.00. I love the sturdy black iron legs. The kids and I mod podged the top with black and white diamond paper. They loved helping with this project. This is a perfect little table for them.

Our House!
Below is the model kitchen. We'll have cherry-stained birch cabinets (these are oak) but I like the tile backsplash. Hopefully Mom can see this backsplash. Click on the picture to enlarge.
Please take a look and help me decide colors! Any other tips or thoughts would be appreciated as well. Right now we need to decide our roof color; pure black or charcoal black? (model pic has charcoal black, aka "weatherwood"). And what about the outside colors? I need my creative girls to pull through and help with the color choices! We can do anything, so the sky is the limit! (Just no Mexican pastels or flourecsents) sp!
Click below for the virtual tour (even though it's not very extensive, at least you get an idea)

Mod Podge Project
So I recently discovered Mod Podge; it's fun, inexpensive, and provides endless crafting possibilities! (The bottle I picked up at Hobby Lobby was about $3.50)
My first MP project was a picture frame for Savanna's room. It was plain, exposed particle-board-looking stuff when I bought it. (See second pic). I applied MP to scraps of paper in a collage format, let it dry, then applied MP to the top of the papers to form a glossy seal. MP comes in matte or glossy.
You can apply anything from paper to fabric (that's my next project!) onto wood, metal, glass, particle board, etc. The possibilities are endless!
