Dresser
Bought this dresser at Goodwill for $40.00. I cleaned it then primed it with Valspar latex tintable white multi-purpose primer. Then I painted it Meadow Trail by Sherwin Williams.

Bringing Springtime In
These were from a tree by the post office. We got them on Tuesday. I don't know what they are but I had to get rid of them shortly bc they were stinky! They sure look beautiful though.

We came back from our walk in the park today with some lovely spring branches that are just beginning to bud. I love Nature's new beginnings. It's a beautiful and FREE way to decorate as well! God's creations reign supreme!

Dull Drab to Dressed up Fab
The kids' bathroom is one of the last on my list to decorate and assemble. However, the shower curtain was just begging for help. I couldn't wait any longer. So, I took the remnant of my designer black and white flower fabric that I used on the dining room curtains and sewed it to the bottom of the shower curtain. I raised the shower curtain rod to give an illusion of height; that bathroom is one of the smallest rooms in the house. The whole thing took about 20 minutes. And I love it! More of that bathroom to come once I get around to it. :)
During the flood:

After the flood:

Oh yeah- I didn't measure or pin anything. Just quick, easy sewing! And no one could even tell it's not perfectly straight.

Picture Frames

I did not create these picture frames but my wonderful sis-in-law Tara did. I just put the pictures inside. I had to post it though because I LOVE them. Did I mention that I LOVE them?? She did such a great job. These are one of the best gifts I've ever received. I think I'm going to make some more to put throughout our house.
